2019 Year in Review

Hello everyone!

Another year has come and gone and so much has happened. Let's take a look at all of the updates and experiments that I've worked on this year!

Game Projects

I started working on a new Unity project, The Hunt. It is different from my other games in that it’s meant to run on mobile devices such as smartphones. It’s also different in that it’s more fast paced than my other works so a lot of hurdles are yet to be overcome but I’m excited to see where it takes me! You can find the most recent web build of the game here on this site! Click here to check it out.

Hell’s Asylum, while being on a hiatus for a while has seen overall improvements! A new camera system, improved saving/loading and improved performance with more C++ code in the backend. Moving forward, more native code will be used to create features that are otherwise unable to be made in Blueprint. The first update of 2020 is expected to be available by late March. Stay tuned for updates!

Music

While not the main focus of this site, as this is more of a portfolio for my game design work, I have made strides in my songwriting endeavors. I collected some electronica I wrote for other projects and for fun and have it available on Bandcamp. Check it out here. I’m aiming to have more music out this year! You can find my music at my SoundCloud page.

Other projects & misc updates

I’ve kinda been slacking off in updating my social media presence but that stops today! Expect weekly blog updates here as well as updates on my Patreon page!

What’s to come in 2020?

Updates! Lots of them! Though my life enjoys keeping me busy, I’m making it a goal to get new content up and available online. Personal consistency is something that I’ve always struggled with and this year I’m gonna beat it. So come along on this journey of long nights, bug fixing and uploading the wrong build at 11:59pm.

2020 is gonna be so much fun and I can’t wait!
